The family bungalow we enjoyed was luxurious and surrounded by a beautiful garden. the hotel is located in a peaceful area right next to the ocean, offering a charming setting complete with a local fisherman nearby. the cottage and the garden create a serene atmosphere that truly enhances the stay.

the vibe here was family. we stayed in a beautiful family room with a nice patio, mosquito net, beautiful garden. the staff team was exceptionally nice and accommodating at any time.

Liked it. The total stay was LOVELY of our Sri Lanka holiday. The staff were friendly and amicable, gave us great tips. Our location was nice in the beautiful garden. Plus, it was close to two great beaches-Silent Beach and Goyambokka Bay and the pathway.

The staff was accommodating and incredibly kind - we would absolutely stay here again. All in all, we had a relaxing 3-night stay. We appreciated having a separate bedroom. the venue is situated in a secluded location close to a beautiful beach, surrounded by a stunning garden and lovely nature, with plenty of bird life.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the coffee, pancakes, and eggs. the deluxe bungalow was clean and had a lovely patio with chairs, plus the bed was quite spacious. the food was delicious, and the location was just right for our needs. ☕.

The secluded location here is amazing, with a wildlife park and a hill within a short walk, and the restaurant serving fresh dishes among friendly fellow guests.

Our family had the most amazing time at Green Hill Cottage! The location was a true paradise, surrounded by nature and away from the noise of the main street. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens, while listening to the sounds of exotic birds and wildlife. The nearby Goyambokka Beach was stunningly clean and perfect for some family fun in the waves. The cottage itself was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy retreat after our adventurous days. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the Sri Lankan breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend Green Hill Cottage for families looking for a memorable and nature-filled getaway!

For dads, it would be great to have Wi-Fi in the cottages.

We absolutely loved our stay at Green Hill Cottage! We got great value for our money with a comfortable and well-equipped room in a peaceful jungle garden setting. The staff, especially the owner Mahendra and his family, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The food for breakfast could have been fresher.

The location of this hotel was great, with easy access to two beautiful beaches and it was just a short ride to the city center. the breakfast provided was delicious, with a good variety of local and international options. the staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

The entrance and exit roads to this hotel were quite narrow and not well-lit at night, which made it a bit difficult to navigate. there were other guest houses and homes nearby, which made the surroundings feel a bit crowded.

I had the most incredible stay at a charming countryside retreat near a stunning beach. The owner was so helpful and easy to talk to, making my experience even better. The breakfast provided was absolutely amazing! The room I stayed in was comfortable and the bathroom was great. Even though there were some bugs and ants due to the open spaces, the mosquito net provided adequate protection. And although I had some concerns about the dampness in the bungalow, overall I had a fantastic time. Despite the bad weather, the warmth and hospitality of the staff really made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend this hidden oasis for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. I'm sure you'll love this place as much as I did!

I keep coming back to this wonderful place. The staff helped me find my way, the amenities are perfect, and the location is great. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, outdoor pool, restaurant, and more. Can't wait to return for another holiday.

Loved the peaceful setting and privacy of the personally designed cottages. The garden was filled with exotic animals, like a mini zoo. Enjoyed meals at the in-house restaurant and took refreshing swims in the outdoor pool.

Oh, and it was just terrible having to walk a whole 10 minutes to reach those two beautiful beaches. So exhausting.
